The Position

The Legal Assistant/Receptionist is the gatekeeper of the firm. This team member will be the first point of contact for all visitors in person or by phone. As such, he or she will need to be patient, courteous, sincere, friendly, and professional at all times. All administrative duties are secondary to the responsibility of providing a welcoming first impression for all who reach out to
us.

The Legal Assistant/Receptionist will have the following duties:
 

• Supervise front office

• Greet clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner

• Answer and properly direct incoming calls

• Manage attorney calendars

• Respond to online inquiries from potential clients

• Process payments

• Manage client filing system from open to close

• Operate firm case management software

• Draft correspondence

• Copy and scan sensitive documents

• Review, finalize, and mail packages

• Process incoming mail

• Update spreadsheets

• Order and inventory office supplies

• Assist management team with A/R and A/P

The Requirements
 

• 5 years of clerical office experience

• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

 

The Schedule and Reward
 

• Full-Time

• Compensation begins at $40,000 with an opportunity for negotiation and increase after 90-day introductory period
